If you are looking for a unique pencil set, the Black Widow Monarch pencils are for you. First of all you can't go wrong with the packaging, they come with a protective case. The jar was wrapped in cellophane and had a piece of tape on it that was easily removed. I opened the jar and again they were wrapped in cellophane. The black barrels have the symbol of the monarch and the name of the pencil and the color number, which is executed in gold and is very legible. The ends of the pins are colored. The top tray is a variety of pastel shades of yellow, peach, pink and green. The second tray has darker and bolder colors set in shades of green, blue, purple, gray and rusty brown tones.
