Review on 48In X 84In Grey Sliding Barn Door With 8Ft Hardware Kit, Pre-Drilled Ready To Assemble DIY Unfinished Solid Spruce Wood Panelled K-Frame by Jaime Bustamante

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Close to perfect for my opinion

I demoed how to put it together. Then took apart and stained it (1 coat) prior final "build" and screwing together (as instructed). Make sure you screw the screws all the way (I hand tighten after using drill with bit provided). If you don't wood pegs won't install all the way and door/boards won't be tight (together).Installation of track and hanging takes 2. We installed headboard and placed track at exact height of instructions (perfect fit). Be sure to measure where door will be when open and shut to ensure track is exactly right. You'll have 2-3 inches of extra track on each end, where you need to install "stops" on track.Be sure spacers behind track have widest side against wall/header board. Not doing that makes door bump (at spacers) when rolled (we did it wrong and had to remove and reinstall).Overall very happy with door and track. We have slight crack in one seam (where boards come together) and could caulk that from back (inside closet) but it really only shows when room is dark and closet light is on.
