Design matches the original exactly. They are about the same weight.Quality is good but not as good as Birks, but for the price these are a no brainer.My one criticism here is of the straps. They are not leather but are a thin pleather like fabric textured like leather. The straps have a really poor choice of material on the inside that is very scratchy for the first week or so of wearing them. It's like automotive carpet. It does break in though and get softer over time but they really should choose another material.The buckles work fine and allow good adjustability.It seems like they are breaking in just like the original and seem fairly durable. I would guess that they won't last quite as long as a pair of Birks but should last a good while.
