Not SAE or DOT approved like other flashlights in the same price range

Although the build quality appears decent, these lights are of little value as they are similarly expensive, SAE/DOT approved and have hard wired plugs . If your application doesn't use a connector, you can still purchase a competing SAE/DOT approved offering and cut the connector off to get the same free wire ends that come with this flashlight. Kaper II L15-0049 Red 4" Round Stopper I ordered an LED/turn signal/tail light instead.
