I had the opportunity to use this sunshade all summer here in the midwest where we had 90 degree heat for a month this summer. I have a black leather interior in my car and after using this sun visor for 4 hours in 8 hours of constant sunlight there was a significant drop in temperature to the point where I no longer felt the heat coming out of my car ( like an oven ). When I opened the door my seats weren't too hot to sit in like they were prior to using this parasol. (I checked 4 hours later and the temp in my car started to drop.) I told my daughter about it and she ordered one for her truck and she did too. very satisfied. The awning folds up very easily and keeps its shape. The included bag is handy for storage when not in use and fits easily in the pockets in the back of my seats. Forget the cuties and go for it. You will not regret it!
