So. We bought the boat at the start of Covid. There was no fish finder on the boat. A year and a few months after buying the boat I bought this LUCKY finder. I honestly didn't have a lot of confidence that this thing would work, or very high expectations. Boy was I surprised when we started fishing! For the first time we caught more than catfish! We caught some white bass. There are a few downsides: 1) it's measured in meters 2) if you don't drill it into your boat it will move a little from where you drop it. All in all, if you want a low budget fish finder, I say go for it!
