This printer is great for printing labels. In tests I used 9mm, 12mm and 36mm tapes. I already had 9 and 12 for my old P-Touch PT-1090 PDA. The 36mm size is the sample size that comes with PT-P910BT. I created a mockup serial number label with an easy-to-use barcode. The code itself is 48 characters long, which is more than enough to direct the user to the serial number lookup page on my website and enter the serial number for a specific item. The mockup link doesn't actually show anything, and the serial number is just a random string of characters. I wanted to make sure that the printed barcode would be comfortable to use on a small medium for the user/product owner. Is that so. My phone is the easiest way to scan QR codes. The black marks show that the QR code has been truncated. It was in the editor's domain, so I was already warned that this was going to happen. Since I set it to high redundancy, it was still able to scan and provide the correct link. The other black spot is the Data Matrix, which also scans well, but not as fast. Differences in barcode formats is a huge topic that I could write pages on. It's just important to know that they're both well supported. The P-Touch Editor that comes with the device supports 22 barcodes and has some graphic options. It even comes with a small toolbar version where you can take bits of web pages or whatever and print them out on a barcode. In Windows, a printer is just another printer, so you can use any application as long as you set it to the appropriate paper size. It has all the features you need in a label printer. Out of interest, I printed out a text file opened in Notepad++. That was the text I used in the barcodes. It was badly typed just because I didn't try to post it. The guide says this printer works for both Android and IOS via Bluetooth. I installed the app and made a quick test chart to make sure it was working fine. It was easy. It was a boring test that just says "ENTER TEXT". Even if you're not very computer savvy, you can use it to print labels. In terms of value for money, it's difficult. Such office equipment can cost much more. If you have multiple print box labels, you probably need one of the cheaper ones. If you do a lot of print jobs and more advanced stuff like barcodes and database linking for details, this is probably a good choice. These P-Touch printers usually last a long time. For example, my PT-1090 is still working after 15 years. I've run countless cartridges and batteries on it and it still works. It will likely long outlive the computer and phone you use with it.
