Good value for money, I recommend.
After riding on studs for my whole "driving life" (ten years), I decided to give Velcro a try after having a set of studded tires (gislaved nord frost 5) removed from my garage right before the season. I don't really have any regrets about it; the handling is good enough, the wheels make no noise, and there are no dropped spikes to worry about. This November has seen snow and ice, yet everyone is acting like it's nothing. I make most of my travels within the urban environment of the Urals (Hong Kong). Kia Sportage automobile.
- The spikes were replaced by smooth roads, and the cabin noise went away yet the handling was still good enough for city driving.
- ice causes skidding at the outset and increases stopping distances.
