Great platform stool! Ordered for home. So far on my 180lb frame it's been really reliable when I'm using it to build a barn with repeated "rough" use (pulling logs and tools) alongside basic interior work with high and low shelving. Compact storage space and reach are the highlights of this aluminum folding staircase. The weight is a little higher than some thin steel sections of the same size, but this unit is also significantly stronger and stronger than previous models I've had. One small thing to note: the pivoting plastic caps are sharp/flared. Edge on it when the stage is open. It's sharp enough to cut your finger lifting a step off that hinge. I recommend anyone who has ordered this model to deburr or lightly sand this edge to reduce the risk of cuts. One star deducted for lack of attention to consumer safety.
