Review on iSpring Reverse Osmosis PMP5 Water Booster by Hector Mak

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Requires some assembly but does the job perfectly

This is a great pump (my pressure went from 40psi to 110psi) but you can make it yourself. If you want to install this you need to buy some extra parts. - DC Power Supply: LED Wholesaler AC/DC Power Supply 24V 2.5A 60W 5.5x2.5mm DC Plug with Spring Terminals Black UL Listed 3206 -24V - Power Jack To connect the pump to the power supply: Kenable DC PIGTAIL connector Bare 5.5 x 2.5mm power jack for 0.3m (1ft) monitoring cable - iSpring # 0604ME (4046K) NPTF MALE ELBOW - 1/4 NPT x 3 / 8" Male NPT Thread - (Optional) Water Pressure Gauge: Malida Stainless Steel Aquarium Gauge Water Gauge 0-1.6 MPa 0-220 lbs per square inch 1/4 RO Pump You will need to solder the motor wires to the power connector wires and cover with electrical tape Red to red, black to black If the motor has green and brown wires, then brown to red and green to black, use lots of sealant tape for two corner adapters bolted into the motor or it will leak. Cut the Disconnect the hose from the water supply to the reverse osmosis filter and connect it between the two hoses There is an arrow on the motor each side to show where the water is going in (from the plumbing) and where the water is going out (to the filter). Once everything is set up, plug the motor into the adapter and you'll get a feel for how it works. If you also install a pressure gauge (see my picture) you will see the pressure build up.

Pros
  • This pump can pressurize water up to 80psi. 1/4" fitting
Cons
  • Slightly dented
