I buy ASICS shoes most often. They're not overly expensive, but they're of decent quality. And I'm not good with shoes. It's very difficult with them. I broke with my ASICS tradition and decided to try them out. When they first came out, the look and shape really reminded me of ASICs. Already a good start. I looked in and saw the support patterns for the foot and was intrigued. I put them on and they fit exactly as I expected. The biggest difference between these and my old shoes is the grip. This beautiful pattern at the bottom is functional. I could feel everything that kept my leg straight and level. You have no idea how awesome it is. If you know anything about maintaining body balance, you know that wearing shoes that are off-centre ruins your physical performance and, over time, creates tension throughout the body. Steel Edge solves this problem for me. When I buy ASICS they generally start off well, but I tip that balance pretty quickly with use. You can feel the extra support they provide. I think I've found my new shoe company.
