I was arguing between this and the OTC1 coilless test lamp: 20 years ago I told myself I would never buy anything coiled again because it's usually too easy to pull off the ground .2: i found out that my colleague has a spiral test lamp so i borrowed it. 3: I noticed that the modern reel has more flexible rubber and is longer compared to the earlier ones. 4: I ordered this one because it's a mini and not a straight cable. OTC.5: When it arrived I decided to stretch it overnight to make it even longer. You can see the center of the coil versus either end in the photo to get an idea of what it did. 6: I would recommend it to a friend and am very satisfied.
