#14 allows for blue crimps and unless you are running 30 amps you don't need #12 which fits yellow crimps which only are the #12 and #10 wire counterpart. 5 amp circuits also need fuses and this allowed me to switch to a sensible and appropriate #18 for the rest of the circuit. And you can refill the reserve fuse cache.
