This tool saved me a lot of time, effort and frustration when I moved the DirectTV Genie control box from the living room upstairs to the family room downstairs. Our entire house was hooked up to cable by a builder, but the previous owner of the house had cut the cable connection in the basement and not labeled any of the spare coax cables going to the various rooms. The free ends of the cable simply lie in a bundle. This tool was easy to use and helped me find the right coaxial cable for my living room with little effort. Like many special tools, I probably won't need it for a long time, but it was still worth it.
