Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Genesis GHG1500A Temperature Nozzle Add-ons by Dave Brummet

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I understand why there are so many negative reviews about all these cheap heat guns/all brands. tips like.

This rating applies to all budget brands; pay attention to the description of the pictures, many weapons look the same in different colors. If they look the same, they are the same shape and the same manufacturer in China making them under different brands. So paying more money for something that looks the same is no guarantee that the device is better. I've studied the tool and here are the reasons why they fail. Use common sense when using a hair dryer and understand the difference between uses. it is in cold weather or summer. If you're removing color in cold weather, high temperature settings shouldn't be a problem. Using the gun in an outside temperature of 85-90 F greatly affects its performance. The maximum heat setting should only be used for short periods of time, at this setting the resistors will turn red hot which means there is not enough air. through them. Constant use at a high level will cause the resistors to fail. Suggestion: If you need to use it in high temperature, please do your best to switch between high and low temperature so that the temperature of the internal components can be lowered. When working on a high temperature setting, don't suddenly turn off the heat gun, switch to a low temperature setting to lower the temperature of the internal components. Unfortunately, this gun doesn't have a pure cold air mode that would allow it to cool completely before it can be turned off. Don't rotate it. from a high temperature and leave it with the nozzle down (hot air rises). Residual heat escapes out the back and affects the small fan blade and motor. Make sure to leave the gun nozzle up when you turn it off. This way the heat is dissipated without affecting the plastic cover. Do not keep the tip of the nozzle an inch from the surface, you will reduce the gun's airflow and it will overheat. Try to stay about 2 inches from the surface. Operate the gun at an angle to the surface, this reduces static air pressure and improves airflow. This is not a professional tool; it is a tool for weekend warriors. A professional tool for continuous work costs over $100. Before first use, shake it slightly, if it rattles and makes noise like it's loose inside, put it in the box and send it back. A loose screw or small piece of plastic will break the fan blades and the gun will fail. Don't drop, don't take. When finished, unplug the power cord and let it cool in a place away from materials such as plastic or paper bags that can ignite. Be careful with it to see if it lasts. 4 stars because it has no cooling stage and not enough air for the high temperature setting.

Pros
  • High and low temperature settings for versatility
Cons
  • Not sure
