Glad to have these hiking pants today. Arrived super fast and well packaged. I ordered dark gray thinking it would hold up better against dirt and dust as it would be used for camping, hiking and outdoor activities. Pants look even better in real life. Material: The material is lightweight and appears to hold up to wear and tear and is of good quality. It has elasticity and will not tear easily, not cheap material. It is very comfortable to wear and there is no reason to fray. The seams are well sewn and make a durable impression. I would say these are quality hiking and outdoor pants. It's perfect for our California weather, it's wind resistant, warm enough for cool weather and breathable for hot California days. Size: I ordered a large. I'm between sizes (M & L) for these. Because of this the fit is a bit loose for me as you can see in the photos. I believe if I buy a size M it will fit perfectly and that's what I intend to do. Due to the stretchiness of the material and the cut, I see these pants as a great pair when you need to stretch, climb and the like. This allows a great freedom of movement and allows you to do it in a very comfortable way. There are belt loops for those who prefer to wear a belt, and the belt has elasticated sides for a snug fit. Color: The color is dark gray and as expected in real life. Although Revain's dark gray image looks a bit brownish. Design: These pants have everything I need in terms of storage. It has 5 pockets in total. In addition to the 2 normal trouser pockets, it has a left hip pocket with a zipper and a right hip pocket with a Velcro fastener. And a back pocket with a zipper. I don't think I'll ever run out of storage space with these pants. Very convenient to carry small items, phone, dinner, etc. on long hikes. The pants turn into shorts, you just open the lower part of the legs and easily turn them back into long pants. They even marked the lower legs with "R" and "L" (there's a little tag inside) so you know what goes where. The zippers look and feel good and smooth. I've had other hiking pants that do the same thing and that's a feature I like. In addition, they have buttons at the knees where you can roll up your legs and attach them to the buttons. Suitable for walking on water/streams. Another feature is the Velcro closure at the bottom hem, which allows you to tighten the legs to prevent pesky insects from entering. These design features, which I don't expect at this price and quality, are very useful. Overall I'm very happy with these pants and think you can't beat the value. I am very sure that I will spend many hours in these pants. If the stuff lasts as long as I'm expecting I'll be buying a few more very soon. I hope they release more colors like navy blue, khaki, dark brown, camouflage etc. UPDATE: My size M order arrived today. Fits perfectly as expected. So happy.
