I bought this monitor after a friend bought the 32" version and another had a 35" Asus Professional Graphics monitor. The color and brightness are just amazing. The color saturation is very good. I notice a gradient effect in some menus and loading screens, but I have no problems using the monitor. The sRGB color space is just plain fun. If you're not looking at blacks directly, they do appear a little gray, but if you're sitting directly in front of it, it's nice, and ambient light doesn't seem to affect the screen when gaming. Some people claim that this monitor has ghosting. I can't say I'm a competitive gamer who needs 1ms GTG so 1ms MPRT works fine and I get to 180 in games like The Division 2 and Rainbow Six Siege and just don't see any blur or halos. Maybe it's my eyes, but to me they look amazing and appear just as sharp as my previous Asus VA32AQ 23-inch IPS monitor. I certainly put up a bit of resistance after reading MANY reviews about blurring and ghosting, but some of them even came to the same conclusion that I did it but just can't see it. It looks as good as any other non-VA panel I've used in the last 10 years. I have a 34-inch LG IPS that I use for work and it's very similar, but the color and brightness aren't as good and it's $300 more than the Asus. UPDATE: I just upgraded my rig to a new 8 core i7 and RTX 3070 today and now I'm seeing blurring/ghosting in some areas. Not sure what was different from before the updates. This isn't a problem, but depending on the games you play, this monitor might not be right for you. Bright areas are completely invisible, but dimly lit rooms will be noticed if you turn very quickly. Using the built in overdrive gave too much crown effect after throttling, most of my games look much better, even CSGO. I'm sure you can probably get similar results with another VA panel that costs a little less, but that ticked all my boxes because I needed additional USB ports and all cables connected from the bottom up rather than the side had to do the back side because my VESA mount is flat against my desk wall so you can't connect the cable the way you do. with Samsung or LG panel. In terms of quality over time or reliability I'm sure I can give a better long term rating later, but in terms of raw quality this monitor is great and I have no regrets buying it. That.
