I wanted them to be attached to hollow core wooden doors. They're lightweight and might work, but they're too long, nearly 1-1/2 inches, to fit in a standard 1-3/8 inch door. It is a pity. I had to return the money (thanks, Revane). Still looking for an anchor for HC doors. One would think that there would be many of them. Obviously not.
