The function that should cut the seat belts does not work well. This requires a lot of force and you have to be careful to cut at the perfect angle with that force. It takes you a few minutes to get out and god forbid you have kids in the back to rescue. The video made it so easy I bought two so I could have one in the back seat in case my 12 year old needed to extricate himself or his sister, but that would be impossible. I used household scissors and cut the seat belt in seconds where it took a couple of tries and about 2+ minutes if you even managed to do it. I haven't tried the hammer.
