Just buy a new system
The device I received was in poor condition. Maybe I didn't read the fine print or something, but I figured I'd get a new pad. My original hard drive looked better than the one I had. I also replaced the main ribbon cable for it during installation. The image of that disk finally started to appear, but then it looped and tried to boot
