Review on Salomon SENSE Stormy Weather Ebony: Unmatched Performance in Rugged Conditions by David Perez

Let me start by saying I'm a huge Hoka fan but decided to try this Salomon shoe for a number of reasons. Normally Salomon runs VERY narrow and this model doesn't, plus Salomon is the godfather of trail running so he wanted to see what it was all about. I'll tell you that after an easy 5 mile test I thought I'd give them a real test. A 20 mile trail with creek crossings, mud, climbs, wet rocks, sloppy trails and a polished singletrack. They lived up to expectations, not only were they comfortable all the time but they also drained very well, being light on my feet and the much more durable midsole allowed me to move even when my legs/feet got tired. Try them, you won't be disappointed.
