DO NOT PLACE FROG, SPIDER, LIZARD OR SNAKES HERE. This is too little. It's good for feeding though. I assume this makes cleaning easier. I settled a snail here for a few weeks and it was fine, but I don't think anything other than a few bugs or maybe a few sea dragons would live happily here permanently. I now use it as a backup for my 20 gallon tank. If there's a serious problem with my aquarium, I can put fish in it for a couple of hours until I fix the situation. In general, it's not scary.
