I've been painting my stairwell for years and always disappointed due to damage in the wood. I went on revainand searched self stick wallpaper, only to find ready for stairway paper. It comes cut in long sheets and all that's needed is to cut it to the length of your step. Peel and place. really easy. and removable if you are off a bit and need to redo. easy peasy !
