For several years I was plagued by a flooding sunken basement - a contractor installed a pump with a float valve - this thing never worked right - the basement quite often stood a foot high. I've used other auxiliary pumps over the years, but this "Mighty" pump has more power and thrust. drained half a meter of water in record time - I got rid of the old pump and used it as the main pump in the "French drainage system”. My pump is plugged into a smart socket - and with my camera in the basement. I can turn on the pump from anywhere in the world. Very impressive and excellent value for money.
