Review on VDP 🔒 32501 Secret Storage Compartment by Brandon Grzankowski

Oh how I LOVE my new safe. I was concerned that we have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited 4-Door and worried it wouldn't fit properly. However, it fits. There are some cons but not enough not to recommend it as I highly recommend this VDP locked hidden storage. Also, I was blown away by the very quick and prompt service I received from VDP. Cons: 1) we had to remove the original black plastic trim which meant the paint would be visible from the front; 2) no gasket on the bottom of the safe so we had to remove the gasket from the original black plastic liner; 3) The keys were difficult to turn and I was afraid the keys would break off when trying to lock and unlock the safe. For a better transition of the keys I had to file the plastic. We still have to press on the top so that the key turns without effort; 4) I didn't realize the top was the only metal part, I thought the whole safe was metal. The pros that outweigh the cons: 1) Easy to install 2) More space than expected 3) Love the locking feature 4) Rear The carpet is still layered so no one will notice it's there. 5) Impossible to delete without going to the vault first. 6) A great place to keep important documents and money.
