I don't know how good they are for kids but these are lovely and comfy pillowcases! I was looking for gray cushion covers for my sofa and they looked trendy and practical! I didn't know if the white and brown were real stitching (actually embroidery) or a print, but I bought them because they suited my needs. I ordered them in October and two months later the embroidery and real gray fabric on the front came off the pillowcase. I will say I have 2 small dogs that also live on the couch so they may be the cause of this as well as the fact that we are sitting on them. I would say order these cushions if you don't plan on sitting on them and only have them for decoration, otherwise the durability of the craftsmanship will not match what you use on a daily basis.
