This is a great lens for the price ($600). In short, I liked this lens for the following reasons: 1. Very solid build quality 2. Light weight3. Outstanding image quality4. No chromatic aberration!5. Minimal linear distortion A few downsides I noticed with this lens: 1. It has minimal peripheral blurring of objects, which is very common with most lenses2. When you point the lens at a luminous object, reddish highlights appear in the corners of the image (see example with arrows). Overall I'm very happy with this lens, look at the Milky Way shots I was able to get. take it, use it. It is ideal for landscape and nature shots.
