My rear taillights were getting dull due to the age of my truck so I decided to go an unconventional route and try out this light strip. It's 60" long but it comes as a two part interconnected strip (30" long each). It's quite durable as its made out of metal. You can mount by either using clips or tape. I used clips because my rear bumper surface isn't flat. There are couple of ways to power it up. The easiest is to plug into 4-prong jack if you have a trailer hitch mount (most truck/SUVs do). But if you don't have it, you can wire directly into your brake lights, which is what I ended up doing since I already have a rear view camera which is also connected to the rear lights.
