Review on 💧 TICONN Waterproof Insulated Electrical Connectors by Don Leblanc

I have worked in electronics manufacturing, troubleshooting and support for over 40 years. First in the aerospace industry and then in commercial electronics. Based on my experience I can tell you this is a great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to join wires with minimal tools. I used a 22-18 gauge (red) connector on 22 gauge wire. I used a pocket lighter and an inexpensive wire stripper as a heat source. The connection was established in less than a minute. Good shrinking and sealing behavior and excellent wire wetting. I stripped the wires about 1/4 inch and lightly twisted the exposed strands together before heating, rotating the connection while heating to disperse the heat. I'm sure a small butane torch or heat gun would work as well.
