Review on Enhance Your Raspberry Pi with Kuman's 7" Capacitive Touchscreen Display by Derrick Brock

A key element is missing and it's a tangle of cables

Oh is it a good screen? I do not know yet. First the frame is a 4 piece sandwich cut with a water jet (or laser) and needs deburring to remove the ugly edge, which isn't a big deal and is expected at the price of this frame. Second, where are the instructions? I had to collect 3 times, no big deal, that's what I do for fun. Okay, here's "annoying"; The front 2 layers are not thick enough and make the screen protrude, I added a 1.5mm thick insulating washer. There are 24 holes at the back, what is where? There are nuts and bolts of different sizes and lengths, some don't fit anywhere. It's not that important. but highlight? Here's the ugly part; This is a touch screen and needs to be connected to a PC. This is not part of the kit. The included USB to micro USB b is too long and it would be better if it was type T or 180. HDMI, it's big and bold, too short to use with a straight adapter on Raspberry Pi-4. 0/3 points here. One is missing, one is too long, one is too fat and short. Oh, is this the place to rate a screen or kit!?! I hate the frame and the cables, I need more cables and will get a replacement for another. And I have a Pi-4 with a box that cannot be used due to different hole paths. Any problem is easy to fix and it doesn't matter, but if I like it and can recommend it, damn no! Just buy a screen and cable, you'll save some money, get rid of a ton of hassle, and make everything faster. Well, I hope the screen is good ;-)
