Review on BUFFALO LinkStation Desktop Drives Included by Carlos Deuschle

I've had these units for a little over a month and if you're looking for a reasonably priced NAS this is what you need. I bought the 8TB version with 4TB to use in a Raid1 array. I had some issues initially and did a factory reset and rebuild the array to fix things. The device works fine and I have good bandwidth on my laptop (wireless). It would be a bit better if a wireless connection was available for this, but that's not a deal breaker for me. The cable connection is fine and offers good throughput. The user interface is a bit rough but works well enough, especially for the average home user. Good value for money, great storage (because a disc is included). One star deducted due to initial setup issues and underdeveloped interface.
