Work like new. for interior switch

They replaced my torn and tattered control switches on our 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT. They are perfect and work just like the original set. I think if you are looking to replace these controls you know what is required. You must disconnect the battery and wait 10 minutes to ensure the airbag can be removed. You remove the airbag with two nuts under round plastic covers on each side of the steering wheel, you can't miss them. Then you need to remove the wheel. It is held in place by a torx nut. The screw isn't that difficult to remove, but once it's out, trying to remove the steering wheel can be tricky. I've actually just used the double arm puller I use for suspension work. It worked well. Once you have the scroll wheel, it's pretty much plug and play to remove the old controls and put in the new ones. Just do everything in reverse order and put it back in place. There are various videos on YouTube showing this process. You can find one that fits your particular model. If not, it's not that difficult to understand. I'm glad I did.
