Review on 📏 Dahle 00133-21281: Top-Rated 133 Pencil Sharpener with Auto Cutting System, Adjustable Point - Ideal for Standard & Oversized Pencils by Karla Richter

I'm an avid You Tuber and review all my paint purchases before making a purchase. The Dahle Helix pencil sharpeners seemed to be the best in terms of workmanship and price. But I always go in the mid-range when I buy something, so the first Dahle pencil sharpener I bought was a Dahle 155. Well, it sharpened well BUT the "grip" wasn't strong enough to to hold my little pencil pens. Although Dahle claims it can sharpen both small and large pencils, the 155 is actually designed to sharpen large pencils, so it doesn't hold "regular" sized pencils well enough and they spin in the holder! The Crayola, the smallest barrel and hardest to sharpen due to the wood, has survived the worst but my Prismacolors, Castle Arts, Soucolor etc all have dig marks and even my Arteza has "bites". markings on them. You can see in the photo that the orange crayola has fairly deep burial marks all over it. The red pencil is only sharpened in 133 and has no damage whatsoever. So I ended up getting 133 because everyone who sharpened pencils in the 133 reviews had perfectly sharpened pencils left with no damage! And my 133 works like a dream! SO I think the DAHLE 133 is a great pencil sharpener if you're a hobby dyer like me. It's less likely to break my leads than using a tiny hand sharpener, I love the little flakes of wood it shaves off and I feel like it doesn't shave off as much lead as a tiny hand sharpener. If you have big body pencils I'm sure the 155 will suit you. I can't say for sure, but my Arteza pens, which have a slightly larger body, didn't take as much damage as my other fine pens.
