Very easy to program and set up, but a bit difficult to maintain. There's really no way to measure how much food your fish are getting unless you do "test runs". You must adjust the opening of the feeder until the exact amount you want is dispensed. Also, the amount depends on how full the food container is. I've found that it gets more and more fickle from feed to feed the deeper it sinks. I use it for daily feeding and it seems to work very well. When food runs low, I keep an eye on it. And as you get to know your fish better, you'll find they're not quite satisfied yet. If I go to the tank and they all swim to the top waiting to be fed, I just do another reset and they're fine. I would recommend and buy another one of this type for my next aquarium.
