I use it to switch between office and personal laptops. Works very well and toggles all my peripherals (external webcam, keyboard, mouse, monitor and printer) with the push of a button. The switch offers a USB port for a monitor and a keyboard. The third USB port allows you to connect a USB hub. I connected the printer to an active ANKER splitter. The only issue I've encountered is cable management. 9 ports require 9 wires coming out of the device. And there are no mounting holes in this block. I used silicone to glue it to the board (leaving a gap for airflow) and hid the board from my workbench so there were no wires on my desk. Hope this switch lasts a long time.
