I live in Arizona all the time and I play golf when the temperature is over 100 degrees in the summer. I'm also an RV, so I was familiar with RV ceiling fans. Small fans are not enough to blow enough air for cooling. I bought this Maxxair to mount on the roof of my golf cart. I checked the golf cart charging voltage and as the speed increased it exceeded 13 volts. One comment said that the control board would fail if the input voltage went above 13 volts, so just to be safe I put in a buck regulator and set it to 12V DC output. I also swapped two motor cables so the fan blows down rather than in pull mode. It works great and cools me down when playing golf in 100+ degrees. There were many positive reviews about the installation.
