I have 4 Lowes AquaSource 1.28 GPF toilets that are five years old. In recent years, counter-reactions began to fail. To fix them I used an Amazon genuine Lowes valve from WDI part number B4802-1. This works for me, but it's a bit pricey. When I saw these two packs of equivalent parts for just a few dollars more than I paid for one, I gave them a try. They fit and seal but do not support 1.28 GPS. For my toilet it was more like 1.8 gpf. The photos show my tank filling up to 7.25 inches which is rated for 2.56 gallons - enough for 2 flushes. When I flushed, the level dropped to less than 2.5 inches, which probably left less than 0.9 gallons when it should have been 1.28 gallons. Both shutters, received in a pack of 2, behaved the same. Then I bought and installed the WDI part. The photos show the water level at almost 4.5 inches after flushing with this part, which is actually a bit more effective than expected. This is a crude look at my experience, but I realize that using supposedly compatible parts will result in wasted water on every flush.
