Review on Dorman 635-502 Engine Timing Cover: Ideal Selection for Select Models by Alejandro White
Poor Quality Molded Cover
This timing case cover is injection molded plastic. The timing case cover does not fit snugly at the top near the intake manifold. It was so bad I could see the rubber gasket wasn't even touching the surface of the block when the cover bolts were tightened. I had to use silicone sealant. I should have just reused the original GM cover.
