Very good very well built little suction cup. I bought these to add a small metal shelf to the outside of our RV. The shelf is used for mobile phone booster magnetic antenna. One suction cup would have been more than enough but I used 2 for extra stability and to keep the shelf from spinning around the screw on the suction cup in high winds. While I haven't used the hooks yet, they are also very durable and will come in handy when the need arises. To do this, remove the black three-legged nut from the bolt. Then place the suction cup where you want it (make sure the surface is clean) and press on the center of the stud, pushing all air out of the suction area. Then put a black nut on the bolt and tighten the nut until you meet resistance. The suction cup should now be securely attached. These suction cups have great holding power when placed on a smooth, clean surface.
