I am a home dialysis patient. I need to use an IV pole to hold my dialysate bags during treatment. These bags weigh between 3 and 5 pounds. Very good very well built little suction cup. I bought these to add a small metal shelf to the outside of our RV. The shelf is used for mobile phone booster magnetic antenna. One suction cup would have been more than enough but I used 2 for extra stability and to keep the shelf from spinning around the screw on the suction cup in high winds. Great product. I've been looking for something like this for a while. I read the reviews. Some said they were the size of a penny, that's not true. They are 2 3/8 inches in diameter, close enough not to break the micrometer. Be sure to check who they are from. Mine came from Shells. I used them in an unusual application and it worked really well once I figured out how to actually install the suction cup.
