Because I switched from XP to Win 7 after April 08, 2014 to avoid "imperial complications"; I've decided to use my current motherboard, processor and graphics card and only upgrade the RAM. This is what I did today as the above items arrived and filed on my system about 30 minutes ago. I ran Belarc Advisor and it showed the new RAM and for now it seems to be working as expected. I kept the 2GB RAM I was using and added the 4GB I ordered, now it's ready for 64-bit as I intended. This memory works the way I wanted it to. I would like to thank Ryan Masterson of Crucial.com for his invaluable assistance in purchasing this memory. I was originally planning to buy RAM direct from Critical but since they were out of stock he searched and found what I wanted from Revain and I immediately bought it from Revain. Or more specifically NEMIX RAM from Boca Raton, Florida via Revain. The package was not supposed to arrive until the middle of next week but arrived today, Saturday 8th March 2014. The USPS delivery service came back and has never let me down no matter where I am in the world - they always seem to find me. (I may have to look into this.) But seriously, all parties did their jobs and Ryan made sure everything worked the way I wanted it to. In fact, I'll probably be upgrading another computer in the next few weeks, and I know exactly who to contact.
