I ordered these gloves for my 5 year old son and he loves them. We have a drawing of a shark and they are just as bright and cute as the photos, maybe even more so. I love that these gloves are not only cute (so he wants to wear them) but also very thick and warm. These days he makes some pretty hardcore snowmen on the playground, and his hands stay dry and warm at all times thanks to a waterproof outer layer and a length that allows gloves to be slipped over his coat sleeves. There is a strong mechanism that allows him to tighten the top of the gloves around the coat sleeves to keep the ice and wind out. He's worn them all winter, washed them many times and they look just as great. like the day we got them. The bright color makes it easier to locate a missing glove. He had other gloves/mittens that ripped before the end of the season so I'm very happy with their quality. A large grip area is fitted to the palms of the gloves which is handy for keeping it secure on the bars etc. We bought him the little ones and they are great for growing up for at least a year. He's a big kid for his age.
