Ok, it works and the single cable VGA/USB connections are fine. BUT. The device does not transmit monitor information to connected PCs, so the PCs cannot determine which resolutions are supported. The KVM switch pretends to be a monitor and you can only use resolutions from its programmed list. They are selected via the hotkey menu. The default resolution is 1024 x 768 and you can set it higher, but you may find that your monitor's native resolution is not supported. In this case you are stuck with a blurred image. This is particularly an issue in Windows 7, where the PC controls the screen resolutions that are offered to you. If I had known that beforehand, I would not have bought it.
