Can't tell if it works or not yet as I've only had it 3 days. At first my dog had trouble putting it on. I think she doesn't like the velcro. Once he puts it on she will sit very still and look almost relaxed but then run to a new place to do the same. The first sign of fireworks she was on the order of whole 20 minutes. It was kind of a miracle. Shortly after the fireworks intensified, she became restless. It wasn't as bad as usual, but she was definitely worried. Time will tell if it works or not, but it's soft, well made and fits well. For reference I have a 17lb cairn terrier and she is small.
