If you plan to show off your city ride, bring earplugs. Bring lots of them with you. A pair for you and everyone you want to pass. These things scream like ab*$^#! EBC has the best customer service center that replied to me right away. They have already given a warning that they are noisy and depending on you, your ride, the elements etc. The "BRAKE IN” time will vary. The scream should last for a very long time. EBC says be patient. I recommend buying SHIMS from the start. EBC will send you many for free if you ask them. This seems to have solved the squeaking and squeaking issues 99.9% of the time for now. This will close your brakes 80% the first time you apply them and trust me it's worth it. But after a few more months of riding, it almost entirely goes away. I tried step by step without seals and tested my patience and it just didn't work for me on my machine. Super annoying. Shim-shim-shim, and these things are almost perfect.
