Here is a review from a guy who figured out the installation process. Find him and do EXACTLY what he says. In particular, the order of installation. Don't just let your computer find and install drivers etc. Do everything in the exact order this guy says and save yourself an hour of frustration. Full version of label making software is ok. The software itself is not that fast and very low-tech. However, creating a label is very easy, and as soon as you click the print button, the label will fire instantly! I even managed to get both PCs in my office to talk to them over the network via a shared printer and it works like a charm. No need to change labels or buy more than one variety. I just use this size and print all my mailing labels and folders on it.
