Defective straw cover out of the box.

was damaged with broken straw cap. All you get is air intake and no water intrusion. I tried to contact Hydro Cell and was asked to fill out an online form so they could track and ship me a new cap. Why do I have to go the extra mile to get a straw cap system when I just bought a water bottle? Hydro Cell says a replacement cap will fix the problem but my question is do they ship water bottles with a faulty straw system? Why does a new replacement solve the problem when you just bought a bottle? Most people may not use a straw cap, but be careful.
