Review on Creality Extruder 3D Filament Aluminum by Calvin Chavva

Update: Creality contacted me after my review and offered to send me a gray Heavy Duty Upgrade Kit. I received the gray kit a few days later and I think this kit will be great. The gray kit is made from solid machined aluminum like the red, only for heavier use (it actually weighs more) and features a redesigned heavy-duty steel-toothed air fitting. I think this is the best upgrade so far. Excellent customer service from Creality. I ordered the red version of this part and expected to receive the parts as shown. Not me. The kit was missing a few bolts, a swingarm insert, an adjustable spring bushing, and threads for the air connection. I submitted a return to Revain and received a replacement set the next day, good job Revain. Now the replacement kit was complete, but still not an "upgrade", it still had air fittings and no spring adjuster insert, but this time at least all the parts were for the old feeder. The aluminum parts look and feel like high-quality, durable parts. I started the return of the second red set, ordered the black set and received it today. Well, everything is as in the photo. But the aluminum body panels are no longer solid, high-quality milled parts, but are now aluminum castings that feel cheap and brittle compared to the red kits. Is expecting too much to get what is advertised?
