Do not buy! After hearing an 8-year-old cry and worrying about his iPad breaking, he kept trying to figure out how to get hold of this near-impossible part. It worked well for about 1 1/2-2 weeks of charging until it started turning on and off when trying to charge and then literally even turned off a second later on charging again. We had to kick out those who did. I would give no star if it was possible. Someone has to pay for someone to get this part out of a new iPad without destroying the charging part. Save your electronics and money because it's not worth it!
