In normal light driving, there is not much difference in sound, but if you think about it, the difference in sound is noticeable. Much louder. but it's almost too much. no I noticed a slight increase in performance, I was even surprised at first, but I'm not entirely sure how easy it was in my head. I didn't notice much difference in MPG. Only took off one star because the heat shield could fit better (gaps) and the rubber rim around it was short so I had to stretch it to fit. Installation is pretty easy if you're mechanically inclined. Watch the video, walk slowly and read the instructions if you don't.
